If you prefer to send and receive emails through Microsoft Outlook, these instructions show you how to configure your account.

  1. Click the File tab.
  2. Click Add Account.


Auto Account Setup

  1. Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
  2. Click Next.


Choose Service

  1. Select Internet Email.
  2. Click Next.


Internet Email Settings

Complete the following fields with your specific email and domain information:

  • Your Name: Your full email address
  • Email Address: Your full email address
  • Account Type: IMAP
  • Incoming Server: mail.
  • Outgoing Server mail.[yourdomain.com]
  • Username: Your full email address
  • Password: Your password
  • Remember Password: Checked

Click More Settings.


Outgoing Server Tab

Click the Outgoing Server tab to check these settings:

  • My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication: Checked
  • Use the same settings as my incoming mail server: Selected


Advanced Tab

Click the Advanced tab to check the following settings:

  • Incoming server (IMAP): 143
  • Outgoing server (SMTP): 25

Click OK.
