If you prefer to send and receive emails through Microsoft Outlook, these instructions show you how to configure your account.
- Click the File tab.
- Click Add Account.
Auto Account Setup
- Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
- Click Next.
Choose Service
- Select Internet Email.
- Click Next.
Internet Email Settings
Complete the following fields with your specific email and domain information:
- Your Name: Your full email address
- Email Address: Your full email address
- Account Type: IMAP
- Incoming Server: mail.[yourdomain.com]
- Outgoing Server mail.[yourdomain.com]
- Username: Your full email address
- Password: Your password
- Remember Password: Checked
Click More Settings.
Outgoing Server Tab
Click the Outgoing Server tab to check these settings:
- My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication: Checked
- Use the same settings as my incoming mail server: Selected
Advanced Tab
Click the Advanced tab to check the following settings:
- Incoming server (IMAP): 143
- Outgoing server (SMTP): 25
Click OK.
